Industries and Jobs at the Industrial Park

Currently, the Airpark houses multiple businesses including federal agencies as well as private businesses. In addition to the Economic Development Corporation, tenants at the Airpark include: Department of Agriculture food and commodity distribution program, water and soils testing laboratory, abakery, materials distribution warehouse, the Department of Forestry’s Emergency Command Center for fighting forest fires in the Southern Sequoia area, and cabinet shop. With plans already on the board to expand the facility, the Airpark is growing into one of Porterville’s premier industrial centers.

Jobs at the Airpark are diverse with varied skill levels. While employment opportunities for Tribal members is a primary objective, there are ample opportunities for qualified non-Tribal members—and we expect those opportunities to grow!
